This type of snowboard boot is the combination of both hard and the soft boots. They have a harder sole and a softer upper portion. They are flexible and also comfortable because they are a blend of the hard snowboard boot and the soft ones.

- After the use of the snowboard boot the inner lining has to be removed and dried. The liner has to be dried for at least a day so that enough air is allowed into the boot.
- They should not be dried in direct sunlight.
- The snowboard boot should, when not in use, be stored in a place with constant temperature.
- Cleaning should be done with the use of a cloth and soap.
